Accounts and discussions
We store your email address, public username, account dates, contributions and moderation records to provide and protect your account and community participation. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and can be used once. Session cookies are necessary for sign-in, HTTP-only, and expire after seven days. Public usernames, posts and comments are visible to visitors.
Newsletter and founder enquiries
Newsletter requests contain email, language and consent timestamps. Founder enquiries additionally contain name, market and business stage. Each request requires separate consent and email confirmation. An account does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Founder enquiries explicitly concern the commercial First Stake Partners offer. We do not ask for health records or personal dosing information.
Service providers and browser storage
The application and database run on a Hetzner server. Brevo receives the recipient address and message to send transactional emails from noreply@longevityharbor.com. Saved articles, theme and navigation preferences are stored locally in your browser. No advertising or analytics cookies are used. YouTube thumbnails contact YouTube when displayed; playing a video loads its external player and may transmit IP address and device information to Google/YouTube. External links lead to the respective providers.
Purposes and legal bases
Account services and requested correspondence are processed to provide the requested service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); newsletter and founder marketing requests rely on consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Security, abuse prevention and moderation serve legitimate interests in operating a reliable community (Article 6(1)(f)). Public source metadata may be categorized and summarized with AI; community accounts and private emails are not used as input for this content workflow.
Retention, deletion and your rights
Unconfirmed requests are removed after 30 days during cleanup; confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Use the cancellation link in the confirmation email to delete a newsletter or founder request. Account deletion is available while signed in and removes associated contributions and sessions. Backups may retain deleted data until their scheduled expiry. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object where applicable, or withdraw consent by contacting the address above. You may also complain to your competent data protection authority.
