Creator-Beschreibung · OriginaltextTextsprache: Englisch

I was looking at a meta-analysis of 28 studies and more than 7,600 older adults, asking whether walking speed predicts falls. The answer was more surprising than I expected. In this video, I show you a simple ten-meter walking test you can do at home, explain what hides behind the number (step length, the push from your ankle, and the worry that can creep into the way you walk), and share one finding about why watching your feet may make walking harder. Then I give you a ten-minute routine and a 30-day plan. Please talk with your doctor or physiotherapist before starting a new exercise routine, especially if you have had a recent joint replacement, severe neuropathy, dizziness, or a heart condition.
