Biological‑age tests give you a single number. But can one measurement capture the full picture of aging?
Your passport tells your chronological age, yet your body tells another story. Telomeres, epigenetic clocks, inflammation, proteomics and physical function only correlate moderately with each other. Biological age can spike from acute stress and then reverse. There is still no universal gold‑standard clock for human aging.
If a therapy shifts biological markers without reducing disease, can we truly call it anti‑aging treatment?
