About this video

Creator description Ā· original language

Scientists may be getting closer to measuring how old your body really is. Your birth certificate tells you your chronological age. But inside your body, molecular changes can reveal clues about how fast you’re ageing. A 2025 study found that higher levels of the cocoa compound theobromine were associated with slower epigenetic ageing in two human cohorts. Even though this doesn't prove that eating dark chocolate slows ageing, the bigger part is that scientists are learning how to read biological ageing from the chemistry of your body. #science #biology #aging #humanbody #darkchocolate MUSIC Scott Buckley - The Climb is under a Creative Commons BY 3.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/... / musicbyscottb Music powered by BreakingCopyright: • āš—ļø Mysterious & Inspiring (Music For Video... šŸ”Ž Find more music here: https://breakingcopyright.com
