About this video

Creator description · original textText language: English

In this talk, Dr. Rashi Jain, AIIMS Delhi, presents a pilot cohort study exploring biomarkers of aging across five life stages—from newborns to adults over 80 years. The study examines biological markers linked to the 12 hallmarks of aging, alongside cognitive, physiological, dietary, and functional assessments. Conducted at the National Centre of Ageing, AIIMS New Delhi, the research tracks participants across different age cohorts and will follow them over five years to better understand the pace of biological aging. By combining clinical assessments with molecular biomarkers such as telomere length and epigenetic changes, the study aims to provide deeper insights into how aging unfolds across the human lifespan. This work represents one of the first efforts from India to systematically study biological aging biomarkers across multiple generations, with the potential to inform future approaches to longevity research and personalized healthcare. 🔔 Subscribe and stay tuned!
