About this video

Creator description · original textText language: English

*What makes an organisation capable not simply of surviving change, but of continuing to evolve through it?* Longevity is transforming the workplace. People are living and working longer, multiple generations increasingly share the same organisations, skills are becoming obsolete faster, and expectations around careers, wellbeing, flexibility, leadership, and purpose are changing. For businesses, this creates a new challenge: *organisational longevity*. In this panel from the *Milan Longevity Summit 2026*, *Marco Ballaré, Massimo Fiaschi, Stefano Castrignanò, and Antonio Bonardo* explore how organisations can adapt to demographic, technological, and social transformation while remaining productive, competitive, and attractive places to work. The conversation examines what longer working lives mean for leadership, talent management, welfare, skills, and organisational culture. How do companies create meaningful opportunities across different generations? How can corporate welfare evolve as people's needs change throughout longer lives? How do we preserve and transfer experience while continuously bringing new skills and perspectives into organisations? The panel also looks beyond the individual workplace. Demographic change is reshaping labour markets themselves, creating new challenges around talent availability, participation, productivity, and the relationship between employers and employees. Building organisations for longevity therefore requires more than adapting HR policies. It means rethinking how companies invest in people throughout their careers and how *learning, wellbeing, flexibility, leadership, and welfare* become part of long-term organisational strategy. *Participants:* • Marco Ballaré – President, Manageritalia • Massimo Fiaschi – General Secretary, Manageritalia • Stefano Castrignanò – President, Osservatorio Italian Welfare • Antonio Bonardo – Chief Public Affairs Officer, Gi Group Ultimately, organisational longevity is not about preserving organisations as they are. *It is about building their capacity to continuously renew themselves, creating workplaces where people and businesses can evolve, contribute, and thrive over longer horizons.* *Powered by @Manageritalia* The Milan Longevity Summit brings together global leaders across science, policy, business, technology and society to explore longevity through a *One Health* perspective, connecting the health of people with the health of our societies, economies, and planet. *Learn more about the Milan Longevity Summit:* https://www.milanlongevitysummit.org #MilanLongevitySummit #OrganizationalLongevity #FutureOfWork #Workplace #Leadership #CorporateWelfare #Demographics #FutureOfSkills #OneHealth #Workforce
