About this video

Creator description · original textText language: English

*What if doing better sometimes begins with stopping?* In a world of constant notifications, accelerating workloads, information overload, and continuous demands on our attention, the ability to pause is becoming increasingly difficult, and increasingly valuable. In this experiential workshop from the *Humanity Stage at the Milan Longevity Summit 2026*, *Tarun Galagali*, Founder and CEO of Mandala for Us, invites participants to explore the relationship between *attention, presence, self-awareness, and human performance*. Rather than treating wellbeing as something separate from performance, the workshop asks what becomes possible when we create the mental space to notice, reflect, and respond more intentionally. How does the quality of our attention affect the decisions we make? What happens to creativity and judgement when our minds are constantly fragmented? Can learning to pause help us navigate pressure, uncertainty, and complexity more effectively? And how might greater presence change the way we work, lead, communicate, and relate to others? Through an interactive experience, Galagali explores the pause not as withdrawal from action, but as a capability that can improve the quality of what comes next. In the context of longevity, this becomes part of a larger conversation about how we sustain not only our bodies, but our *attention, emotional capacity, relationships, and ability to perform meaningfully over longer lives*. Ultimately, human performance is not simply about doing more. *Sometimes the most powerful intervention is creating enough space to see clearly, choose deliberately, and be fully present for what matters.* #MilanLongevitySummit #TarunGalagali #MentalHealth #Wellbeing #HumanPerformance #Attention #Presence #Mindfulness #Humanity #Longevity
