What is Rapamycin? Rapamycin is an immunosuppressant that is normally used for organ transplantation. However, various studies have shown that is increases lifespan in mice.
How Does Rapamycin work? Rapamycin inhibits mTOR, which prevents specific cell growth and proliferation. It also triggers autophagy, which promotes cell recycling and renewal, essentially reversing the age of tissues and organs in the body, reducing the risk of various diseases.
Rapamycin Longevity Studies: Below are the many peer reviewed articles mentioned in the video.

2000 study showing tolerance and side effects of Rapamycin in humans

Is Rapamycin Safe? Rapamycin is generally well tolerated by humans, but side effects can include hyperglycaemia, hypercholesterolaemia, mouth ulceration and at high doses, it can reduce blood cell counts and trigger immune suppression. That is why it is important to only take Rapamycin under the guidance of a licensed medical professional.
Taking Rapamycin to Live Longer: Rapamycin is approved for usage in humans for the purposes of organ transplantation and certain cancer treatments, but not for longevity reasons. This means that if you want to take rapamycin to increase your lifespan, you will need to find a doctor who is willing to help you with a prescription and guidance.
