👉 More longevity bioacks. Join my free community: https://www.skool.com/the-longevity-alliance/about Reading medical studies and boning up on longevity makes for some dry reading. Not so with the discovery story of rapamycin and the mTOR pathway. Today's video is a 2-parter. The first part is the history of rapamycin and it's a tale with exotic locales and not one resurrection, but two; one from the last place you'd think. The second part of this video takes a good look at several studies of rapamycin, both past and present. And we'll examine rapamycin's role in the age-related decline in immunity and loss of muscle mass. I'll admit it. I've never been a big fan of taking rapamycin to inhibit the mTOR pathway and possibly extend lifespans. But these studies have reset my thinking, and I may be changing my mind.
