About this video

Creator description · original language

Biologically, we now understand many of the underlying cellular and molecular processes that drive ageing, from damage to the proteins that keep our bodies working, to the ageing of cells themselves. It’s these changes – known collectively as the ‘hallmarks’ of ageing’ So, if we could slow these hallmarks of aging down – we could reduce the risk of many, or even all of the problems of old age at the same time. The good news is that science tells us that our rate of ageing isn’t simply determined by genes. Somewhere between 75 and 95 per cent of lifespan is down to lifestyle and luck, so, a huge chunk of which we can control. Watch till the end of this video, and let me show you where you should start on your journey to delay – and possibly reverse – age-related decline, and how you can take control of our body's age; how to slow, halt and potentially turn back your biological clock.
