*Alzheimer's Detection in Individuals Who Feel Healthy** Can Alzheimer's disease be detected before memory problems begin? In this session from *Brain Health and Ageing: From Risk to Resilience* at the *Milan Longevity Summit 2026*, *Professor Emrah Düzel* explores one of the greatest challenges in modern neuroscience: identifying Alzheimer's disease in people who appear completely healthy. Advances in brain imaging, blood biomarkers, and cognitive neuroscience are making it possible to detect the earliest biological changes associated with Alzheimer's many years before symptoms develop. Professor Düzel discusses how these innovations could transform prevention, enabling interventions that preserve cognitive function long before irreversible damage occurs. Professor Emrah Düzel is Professor of Cognitive Neurology at *Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg* and an internationally recognised expert in memory, ageing, and neurodegenerative disease. His research combines neuroscience, neuroimaging, and biomarker science to understand how memory changes across the lifespan and how early detection can improve outcomes for people at risk of dementia. The Milan Longevity Summit brings together global leaders across science, medicine, policy, business, technology and society to rethink the future of health through a *One Health* perspective—recognising that the wellbeing of people, planet and economies is deeply interconnected. *Learn more about the Milan Longevity Summit:* https://www.milanlongevitysummit.org/it/speakers26/emrah-duzel #MilanLongevitySummit #Longevity #OneHealth #EmrahDuzel #BrainHealth #Alzheimers #EarlyDetection #Neuroscience #HealthyAgeing #Healthspan
