*Caloric Restriction and Biological Aging: Mechanisms, Reversibility and Multi-Omic Insights* *Can changing how much we eat actually change how fast we biologically age?* In this session from *Nutrition and Nutraceuticals for Healthy Aging* at the *Milan Longevity Summit 2026*, *Dr. Giovanni Fiorito* explores caloric restriction and what multi-omic technologies are revealing about its relationship with biological ageing. Caloric restriction is one of the most extensively studied interventions in ageing research. But understanding its effects in humans requires looking beyond lifespan to the molecular changes taking place across genes, epigenetics, metabolism, and other biological systems. Dr. Fiorito examines the mechanisms associated with caloric restriction, whether changes in biological ageing may be reversible, and how integrating multiple layers of molecular data can provide a more complete picture of how nutrition influences the ageing process. Dr. Giovanni Fiorito is a researcher at *IRCCS Istituto Giannina Gaslini*, whose work focuses on molecular epidemiology, epigenetics, biological ageing, and the use of multi-omic data to understand the interaction between environmental exposures, lifestyle, and human health. The Milan Longevity Summit brings together global leaders across science, medicine, policy, business, technology and society to rethink the future of health through a *One Health* perspective — recognising that the wellbeing of people, planet and economies is deeply interconnected. *Learn more about the Milan Longevity Summit:* https://www.milanlongevitysummit.org/it/speakers26/giovanni-fiorito #MilanLongevitySummit #Longevity #OneHealth #GiovanniFiorito #CaloricRestriction #BiologicalAge #MultiOmics #Epigenetics #HealthyAgeing #Healthspan
